About the show…
‘Elvis On Tour – The Legend Continues’ is an Elvis Tribute Show to remember.
The show is performed by Lee ‘Memphis King’, a champion Elvis impersonator who was crowned ‘King of the Kings’ in 2007, at the annual Collingwood Elvis Festival in Canada.
The show will take you on a journey through the entire history of Elvis, from the early years with Sun Records, through the Movies era, then his ’68 comeback special, the ‘Elvis – The Way It Is’ and finally the Las Vegas ‘Jumpsuit’ years. Lee ‘Memphis King’ moves through all these eras in appropriate attire and with effortless ease. He has all the moves and vocals to bring you back in time.
The show takes place in The Mahony Hall @ 7:30pm on Friday, February 28th. Tickets range in price from €27.50 to €32.50.
How to get to the Helix…
The Helix is located in the Dublin City University Campus in Glasnevin, about 10km north west of Dublin city centre. The best way to reach it is to drive or hop on the Dublin Bus.
If driving from the city centre just take the N1 north towards Drumcondra. Continue on towards the M1 until you get to the junction at Whitehall. Then take a left onto Collins Avenue and you’ll see Dublin City University (DCU) on the left after St. Aidans CBS. If you’d rather take the bus then get the number 4, 11, 11A, 11B, 13, 13A and 19A.
If travelling from outside Dublin then head north on the M50 until you reach the Ballymun exit (Junction 4). Once you take the exit, drive through Ballymun and turn left at the Collins Avenue/Ballymun Road crossroads (approx 500 meters). At the second set of traffic lights turn right into the entrance for DCU.
