Westlife are currently celebrating their 10th year together, and what better way to mark it, than to play their ‘Back Home Tour’ in their home city of Dublin. It promises to be one of the most spectacular live performances by Westlife, so it’s definitely a show not to be missed especially if you’re a Westlife fan.
About the concert…
The Westlife ‘Back Home Tour’ 2008 will be coming to Croke Park, Dublin, in June this year and what makes this tour so special is the fact that it has always being the boys ‘dream’ to sell out Croke Park which has a capacity of 80,000. This concert will be Westlife’s biggest performance to date!
Westlife have been together since 1998, and in that time they have become one of the most successful boy bands of all time. The Westlife ‘Back Home Tour’ will feature special guest, singing sensation – Shayne Ward.
Westlife have had fourteen number1′s in the UK during their career so far, which puts them just behind The Beatles and Elvis in all-time records. They are, however, the only band in UK history to enter the charts at number 1, seven consecutive times! While originally Westlife focused on the usual boy band “teen pop” sound of the 90′s, they have in recent years moved on to the ever popular power ballads.
Westlife will take to the stage on the 1st of June in Croke Park, and will belt out new songs from their latest album in addition to their most popular songs from the past 10 years, such as Flying Without Wings, World of Our Own, Unbreakable, Swear it Again and Bop Bop Baby, to name a few.

About the venue…
