Experience all the fun and thrill of the 7Up Christmas on Ice at the RDS!
There are three Ice venues to choose from: The RDS, Liffey Valley and Letterkenny in County Donegal, with each venue offering a wonderful experience for both young and old. At the RDS you can test your skating skills, check out the ‘Skating Santa’ or just soak up the festive atmosphere.
The 7Up Christmas on Ice at the RDS is now in its 6th year and continues to entertain and grow bigger and better each year. With an amazing 1000 square meters of an ice rink, there’s plenty of room for everyone.
For those of you who have never skated before, you’ll be happy to hear that there’s a ‘Beginners Ice Rink’ available where you can practice and gain confidence before you take to the advanced ice rink. You can avail of the wonderful 7Up on Ice experience at the RDS from 14th November 2008 through to 11th January 2009.
You can warm up afterwards with a steaming hot chocolate at the Ice Café overlooking the ice rink
The RDS is a fantastic venue offering excellent standards and top facilities including: a fully covered main ice rink, beginners ice rink and kiddies ice rink with a very good viewing area. All sessions last one hour and also include ”Skate Marshals” if you’re a bit wobbly on your skates.

The Skate Camp runs from 30th December 2008 to 4th January 2009. Catering from ages between 8 years and 15 years, this 5-day Skate Camp is a fantastic gift idea. The Skate Camp is suitable for all levels of skaters.
Be the envy of all your friends and celebrate your birthday in style this year…on ice! The RDS will cater for groups of 10 to 30 guests and you can also avail of the facilities available at Café Ice (catering facilities are not provided though).

If you’re skating at any weekend during the festive season then you’re sure to catch a glimpse of Skating Santa…yes, all the way from the North Pole, Santa will make a special appearance every weekend in the lead up to Christmas, taking time out from his busy schedule to enjoy the 7Up Christmas on Ice and entertain you with his skating skills!
There are no queues or advance booking required to see Skating Santa, so come along and join in the fun of the 7Up Christmas on Ice. Tickets are from 8.00 Euro.
