Over the years Ireland has proved it has a huge appetite when it comes to outdoor concerts of all sorts. Each year the outdoor gig lists increases and people from all corners of the country come together to celebrate music and all that comes with an outdoor concert.

Take That – Croke Park – 13th June 2009.
One of the main music highlights of the year is ‘Take That’ and their Comeback tour! Taking place in our very own Croke Park Stadium and with special guests ‘The Script’, you are promised an excellent line up of songs from their previous success in the early 1990′s, to their recent comeback hits like ‘Beautiful World’ and many more.
The Eagles – RDS – 2nd July 2009.
The Eagles ‘Long Road Out of Eden Tour’ is coming to Ireland this June and will play two dates in Dublin and Belfast. This is a show not to miss and concert dates and venues are as follows:
Live at the Odyssey Arena, Belfast – 30th June 2009.
Live at the RDS Arena, Dublin – 2nd July 2009.
Metallica – Marley Park – 1st August 2009.
Metallica is most definitely one of the best and most influential heavy metal bands of the 1980′s. With hits such as: ‘Nothing else matters’, ‘Whiskey in the Jar’ and ‘The Day That Never Comes’ to name a few, this is a gig not to miss for all you heavy metal fans.

Oxegen – Punchestown Racecourse, Co Kildare – 8th and 9th July.
Oxegen is an annual music festival which has been held since 2004 and has already become one of Ireland’s biggest festivals. Oxegen attracts crowds of approximately 80,000 each day so don’t delay if you wish to attend this years festival! Most of the people who attend this festival combine the gigs with overnight camping, which is available on site and adds to the Oxegen experience.
Electric Picnic – Stradbally Hall, Co Laois – 1st, 2nd 3rd September 2009.
Electric Picnic is a very unique outdoor Irish music festival that has over the years grown to be a huge success and continues to grow even more each year. With a spectacular setting in Stradbally Hall, which is a stunning and lush green 600-acre estate, promises a massive line up showcasing the very best in music that include big names and many successful up-coming bands.
